Sculpture made by Julia Haumont at l'Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts de Paris. She was taught in the sudio of J.M Alberola and this work has been shown during the annual "exposition des Félicités" in 2018. Then, she has been invited to show her work at the Danysz gallery on the occasion of the "Vis a vis" goup show.Reminiscences from childhood, the young girl figure has been a reccurent pattern in the work of Balthus, as in the dancing girl of Degas or in the more contemporaneous body of work of Françoise Petrovitch. In Julia's work, the ceramic processing is perfeclty optimized both in the game of materials and the delicacy of shapes.
