In Sonata IV, Zelam Lim continues his exploration of light, movement, and inner harmony. The work’s soft gradients and flowing forms evoke both petals and air currents, suggesting a suspended moment between nature and abstraction. The vibrant green lines cut through the pink background like musical phrases — a visual rhythm that gives the painting its title. Through layers of aerosol and delicate brushwork, Lim composes a poetic dialogue between energy and stillness.
