Vincent de Boer is a Dutch artist born in 1988. Fascinated by gesture and the energy of movement, he explores the boundary between writing and abstraction. While rooted in calligraphic tradition, he redefines its codes by experimenting with tools he designs himself — such as large wooden brushes and custom-made instruments — to create powerful and dynamic works.
He sees his creative process as a form of visual dance, giving his pieces a sense of rhythm and almost musical movement.
