I take the figure of them totem, which here is also seen as a tool or sculpture used for praying to talk about how religion is very powerful in the lives of many people. In fact, religion also regulates people and their lives, as well as politics, the nation, and peacekeeping.
In the work, an assemblage of human heads resembling totems or monuments are being worshipped. We have been worshipping, praising, and praying in front of these human heads for so one, but in fact they are made up of other people's minds and as powerful tooks which have been dominating humankind. This is a symbol for how people can lead, create peace or decide when to start a war, while oppression is everywhere.
Humans are at the same time Gods being worshipped. I created this visual shape of a praying area, where to beg and make wishes come true, from humans to humans. We become small flakes floating around the totems, our hopes are surrounding them.
