Artists love to challenge their skills. This is the case for SAYPE, a land artist who wants to create the world's largest human chain "by painting interlocking hands." The project is intended to be symbolic: for him, it is a way to bring people and cultures closer together across about twenty countries. After creating his land art works in Paris, Berlin, New York, Venice, and Istanbul, the artist, who decided to travel around the world, left for Kenya before continuing his journey. Saype's approach lies between land art and street art. His works are based on a biodegradable paint, made up of water, Meudon white, charcoal, and casein.
