A figure stands on a pedestal, head enveloped by an amorphous cloud of white balloons, erasing identity and monumentality. Set against an austere coastal backdrop, the image evokes the instability of historical narratives and the way societies redefine or erase their symbols. The floating, ephemeral balloons contrast with the rigid structure of the pedestal, challenging the permanence and authority traditionally associated with statues.
