“We are Just
Illusion” reflects on how we are part of the wheels that rotate the world we
live in – we are part of politics, the system, policy-making, and everything
that actually turn us into a vortex of power for those above us. Yet, when the
power structures are no longer needing people for their own political purposes,
people are no longer important. They become invisible, like a phantasm or an
illusion. The work is a form of criticism for the ways in which power
structures are instrumentalizing the voice of many for political purposes.
