SÉBASTIEN PRESCHOUX Dialogues

Fondation Vasarely
Invited by the Renault Fund for Art, we took part in the exhibition Dialogues with the Diamond logo presented at the Fondation Vasarely in Aix en Provence.
For the room known as fourteen o’clock, the idea of a shared working protocol quickly became evident. Each of us created a large painting measuring four by two meters, fragmented into eight squares of one hundred centimeters, conceived as modules that would speak to one another.
This shared protocol became a genuine space for exchange and play, a way to test our visual languages within a common field. On site, we moved, overlaid and assembled our fragments, engaging in dialogue to reach a consensus. Three hybrid compositions emerged, where fortunate coincidences intersect with deliberate ruptures and graphic accidents.
A video installation extends this dialogue by randomly generating tens of thousands of possible arrangements of our forms. From this multiplicity arises an open and shifting work, constantly recomposing itself.
The exhibition remains on view until February 15, 2026.
