This work is a three-dimensional transposition of Charles Pétillon's photographs. This transposition is both physical, through the nature of the artwork, and symbolic, through its title. Indeed, LOOGI is an anagrammatic transposition of IGLOO, the title of the original photograph being transposed. The blend of sculptural and graphic elements creates an artistic language that unites solidity and flatness, shadow and light, the tangible and the illusory. These works are both multiple and unique—multiple through the sculpture and unique through the drawings that compose them.
