The intricate layering of carved advertising
posters immediately draws the viewer into a visual narrative. The composition
reveals fragments of vibrant, often chaotic colours and snippets of text,
creating a dynamic contrast with the more restrained white forms that define
the foreground. Through this process, the artist transforms the urban ephemeral
into a contemplative piece, inviting reflection on consumption, memory and the
constant flux of urban life. The deliberate destruction of the surface is not an
act of vandalism but a controlled artistic gesture that unearths a hidden
beauty and meaning within the everyday.
