In a light-filled room, two figures are absorbed in screens: one watches a console connected to a television displaying the title screen of the video game The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, the other plays on a Game Boy. The scene, calmly and carefully composed, evokes a kind of suspended pause, a moment shared within the intimacy of everyday life. Several details invite a more complex reading: the black t-shirt printed with the phrase "No fate but what we make" (a nod to the film Terminator 2), and the posters on the walls, from Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Joker, summon a cinematic and popular imagination. A subtle reflection reveals the presence of a cat in the wardrobe mirror, adding a fleeting, almost supernatural touch. Together, these elements weave a constellation of references, between nostalgia, geek culture, and questions of identity, where the past, narratives, and images shape the present.
