Based in Beirut, the Dalloul Art Foundation holds one of the largest private collections of modern and contemporary Arab art, patiently assembled by Ramzi Dalloul over more than four decades and now led by his son Basel. "Now Showing" highlights a selection of works from this collection, including several emblematic pieces by Abdul Rahman Katanani, such as his barbed-wire sculpture "Tornado", a symbol of the psychological struggle and constraints faced by the Palestinian people. Born in the Sabra refugee camp, the artist transforms salvaged materials, corrugated metal, oil drums, wire, into a powerful visual language that explores memory, exile and resilience.
