Created for the 2021 Art Season at the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, the installation "Renaissance" takes the form of barbed-wire nests nestled in the trees of the historic park. A gesture both delicate and unsettling, it shifts a material associated with constraint and violence toward a symbol of shelter and new life. The work continues to engage with the estate's landscape, a leading French site for contemporary art set within nature, alongside the permanent and temporary creations that mark each season.
