"Please, draw me a sheep", the Little Prince addresses this request to Saint Exupéry in the eponymous book. But the Little Prince is never ever satisfied with the sheep drawn by Saint-Exupéry, and subsequently the writer ends up drawing him a simple crate in which the much talked about sheep is hidden. The Little Prince has plenty of time then to imagine his sheep in the way he wants it to be, he is finally delighted. For Ludovic Vernhet, the quest for the Little Prince's sheep illustrates the very special relationship that exists between the viewer's perception and the initial intention of the one who designs the image and holds the pencil. On the occasion of his new exhibition in Paris, he devotes himself fully to drawing, in which he excels. Ten works on paper, produced during the confinement of these last months, constitute the main, completely new corpus presented from July 2nd to August 22nd.
