The Unknown Note

This summer, Danysz gallery is celebrating music through an exhibition titled The Unknown Note, featuring French artists whose works are inspired by the connection between Art and Music.

The exhibition, proposed by painter Charles Hascoet, aims at showcasing the singularity and importance of the music in the creative process of each artist. Among the artists featured in the exhibition are Samuel Boutruche, Mathilde Denize, Julia von Eichel, Clédia Fourniau, Patrick Guidot, Boris Kurdi, François Maurin, Julien Saudubray, Marijke Vasey, and Marie de Villepin. The exhibition also pays tribute to the late Robert Malaval, whose diverse works demonstrate the close yet varied links between artistic approaches and musical creation.
 
The Unknown Note is an immersive exhibition that combines art and music, creating a synesthetic experience for visitors. Each artwork is accompanied by soundtracks created or chosen by the artists themselves or in collaboration with musicians. This approach allows visitors to discover the artworks in a new and exciting way.
